Acts 14:3
But the apostles stayed there a long time, preaching boldly about the grace of the Lord. And the Lord proved their message was true by giving them power to do miraculous signs and wonders. (New Living Translation)
What do you believe?
There are consequences when you put on the whole armor of God as a lifestyle. God will bless you and you will glorify Him with your life.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven. (Amplified Bible AMP)
What good works, you say?
Mark 16:17-18 “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.” (Amplified Bible AMP)
This is a promise to those who believe. If you believe, you can make these statements. (All the scripture references are from the New King James Version).
- I hear God’s voice.
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- I have spiritual intimacy with God.
John 17:22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.
- I have a healed heart.
Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
- I am adorned with Christ’s righteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
- I have power over sin.
1 Peter 2:24 Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed.
- I have divine glory.
John 17:22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.
- I have the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
- I have hope.
Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- I have peace.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- I have eternal life.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
How you wear your armor is a testament to what you truly believe.
Please agree with me as I pray:
Father, I believe You. I repent for acting like I don’t. I repent for allowing the enemy to influence what I see. A difficult situation is easy for Your power within me. I am an overcomer. Your promises are available to me because I believe You and I have power and authority. Your power, flowing through me, is available to me whenever I want to access it. Not what I say, but what I believe. Not what I think, but what I believe. Not even what I can prove, but what I believe. Thank You for the authority over the enemy because of my belief. I will the one You can work miracles through. I will no longer be stopped because of my unbelief. I walk in Your authority, and I believe You…
