Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Are you blessed?

You serve an amazing God.  He chose you, knowing who you were and what you would and would not do.  He made a way for you to be blessed. He gave you the key. When you want to be blessed:

  1. You don’t ask advice from people who don’t love God.
Proverbs 4:19 The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble. (New King James Version NKJV)
    • Why? Because you know they will not reason in God’s truth and love.
Proverbs 14:12 You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction. (The Passion Translation TPT)
  2. You also don’t ask for advice from people who say they love God, but don’t live like it.
Psalms 64:2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity. (New King James Version NKJV)
    • That means your best friend should not be unsaved or carnal. Their motivation is self-serving. See the first item.
Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon”. (New King James Version NKJV)
  3. You don’t frequent places where sinners congregate and fellowship.
Ephesians 5:11 Take no part in and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises of darkness, but instead [let your lives be so in contrast as to] expose and reprove and convict them. (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)
    • I know you go to the club to witness.  How many have you led to the Lord? Birds of a feather flock together.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)
  4. You don’t join with those who see life from a place of disdain and criticism.
Jeremiah 15:17 I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers, Nor did I rejoice; I sat alone because of Your hand, For You have filled me with indignation. (New King James Version NKJV)
    • You know God has provided peace and an expected end for the best life you can have.
Psalm 37:1 Don’t follow after the wicked ones or be jealous of their wealth. Don’t think for a moment they’re better off than you. (The Passion Translation TPT)

You are armed with what you need for the blessings of God to continually flow.

Please agree with me as I pray:

Father, thank You for blessing me. Thank You for giving me the key to receive Your blessings without end. I know my advice should come from You and You alone. It should not come from those who do not have respect for You and Your way. I don’t want to always be found in places with people who don’t love You. I wouldn’t want to cause someone to stumble, thinking my love for You is not real. I don’t want to look at life from a perspective of anger and disappointment. Your word says: all things work together for the good, to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. My life and everything I encounter as I live it, is included in “All”. I bless Your name…
