Psalms 13:5
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Who are you trusting?
Isn’t it a good thing that going to heaven has nothing to do with how you respond to situations in your life? You have thoughts about what you should do, but you also have guidance from The One who knows all.
Proverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. 6 Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. 7 Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. (The Passion Translation)
Your faith, hope, and attitude towards God has to grow from whining and complaining to gratitude and thankfulness. You cast your cares on the Lord, knowing and believing He is working things out for “the” good. How can you speak of the power of God one day and cry about what is going on in your life the next? That indicates you have a lack of trust in Him and makes it hard for you to witness effectively.
Philippians 2:14 Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], 15 so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights [beacons shining out clearly] in the world [of darkness], 16 holding out and offering to everyone the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to rejoice greatly because I did not run [my race] in vain nor labor without result. (Amplified Bible)
Stop trusting in yourself and what you know about your situation; and what you think about your faithfulness, righteousness, and merits. Put all of your trust in the Lord, who has a plan for your life. He is the gave you life and purchased your salvation. You have so many reasons to rejoice and trust.
Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (New King James Version)
Please agree with me as I pray:
Father, I thank You for my salvation. I would not have a chance if I had to work in order to be with You in heaven. When I stop to think about my life, it is Your grace, Your mercy, and the fact that You love me enough to look beyond my faults that keep me in a continual state of celebration and on my knees. I have access to You and entrance into Your kingdom because Jesus died for me, even when I wasn’t thinking about Him. If I had 10,000 tongues, I couldn’t thank You enough. I want to live my life in constant gratitude for what You’ve done for me…
Good Morning Father….praising Your Mighty Name, love, wisdom, and Your mercy….as we worship You for just being You..Abba Father we need You always in Jesus Mighty Name!!! Amen!!
