Proverbs 16:17
The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

What path are you on?

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood, And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay, In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh, Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The blood of Jesus made you right. It is not because of anything you did; He did it for you. Now you have to choose to walk in the righteousness Jesus died for. If you choose the righteous path, you are also choosing to live a life that displays the holiness God commands.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. You will set your face like flint to seek the Lord, not looking to the right or the left. You will think about the steps that you take and walk circumspectly. (Matthew 7:13-14 KJV)

Please agree with me as I pray:

Father, I thank You for the opportunity to choose You every day. I realize I don’t have to choose You and I repent for those times that I didn’t. Jesus died for me. Made a way for me to be saved. I could not have saved myself. Help me to always remember that, so I will always choose You. The devil is always on his job and he tries to make the choice hard. I understand sometimes the road I choose will be lonely, but I know I am never without You. I will continue to examine my activities and my thoughts. If they do not line up with Your word, I will allow You to change me. My goal is to live my life in such a way that You are pleased…
