Revelation 6:2
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (KJV)

Are you excited?

Does the enemy sometimes try to whisper in your ear and tell you this is all there is? You cannot stop him from doing that. However, you can stay engaged and not allow him to steal your joy.

2 Chronicles 20:22 As they sang and praised, the Eternal was ready to cause great confusion in battle for the men from Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir (in Edom) who had come to attack Judah. They were utterly defeated, turning on one another. (The Voice TVT)

Does he tell you this is your life, and then you die? Why bother? Remind him you already know what the word says; your life is as fleeting as a vapor and full of trouble (James 4:14). The word also says:

John 16:33 “And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” (The Passion Translation TPT)

Keep thinking about what the word says and your excitement will build.

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at [the sound of] the last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [who believed in Christ] will be raised imperishable, and we will be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed]. (Amplified Bible AMP)

Add some more thoughts about the return of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 On that day, with a command that thunders into the world, with a voice of a chief heavenly messenger, and with a blast of God’s trumpet, the Lord Himself will descend from heaven; and all those who died in the Anointed One, our Liberating King, will rise from the dead first. 17 Then we who are alive and left behind will be snatched up together with them into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This is how we, the resurrected and the living, will be with Him forever. (The Voice TVT)

He is coming back to conquer all. John’s revelation allows us to look into the future. This life is as a vapor, and so are the problems we face. Hallelujah! There is victory in the end. This life we live and the battles we fight have a conclusion. The devil is wrong and don’t let him fool you. It is not for nothing.

“The Divine religion goes out crowned, having the Divine favor resting upon it, armed spiritually against its foes, and destined to be victorious in the end.” (Matthew Henry)

Please agree with me as I pray:

Father, I am excited. I repent for the time I spent allowing the enemy to steal my delight. I look forward, with anticipation, to the blessed appearance of Your son and my brother, Jesus Christ. I am eagerly waiting for the day when You shut the mouth of the enemy for good. I live my life with hope. I rest on Your promise. I am grateful for the revelation. Thank You for saving me. Thank You for making me a part of Your glorious day. My life and my choice to glorify You are not for nothing. I will not live like I am in hell, then die and go to hell. I will live for You every day. My life will be an example of the joy and passion serving You brings. Then when this life is over, I will wear a crown in glory and be with You in eternity…
