{"id":299,"date":"2020-11-07T11:05:04","date_gmt":"2020-11-07T16:05:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pamelarussell.org\/teach\/?p=299"},"modified":"2021-02-07T04:43:29","modified_gmt":"2021-02-07T09:43:29","slug":"february-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pamelarussell.org\/teach\/february-7\/","title":{"rendered":"February 7"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Jude 22 <\/span><\/strong><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">And of some have compassion, making a difference:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Are you compassionate enough to make a difference?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are in a healthy relationship with someone; it is really easy to show them love. But what about if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Your relationship is not as healthy as it should be<\/li><li>You have been shown there is no desire to be loved<\/li><li>You don\u2019t have a relationship at all.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You have to remember that you don\u2019t fight against flesh and blood. So, fight against the spirit of rejection, indifference and isolation by having compassion.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Luke 6:32-36  \u201cAre you really showing true love by only loving those who love you back? Even those who don\u2019t know God will do that. 33 Are you really showing compassion when you do good deeds only to those who do good deeds to you? Even those who don\u2019t know God will do that. 34 \u201cIf you lend money only to those you know will repay you, what credit is that to your character? Even those who don\u2019t know God do that. 35 But love your enemies and continue to treat them well. When you lend money, don\u2019t despair[a] if you are never paid back, for it is not lost. You will receive a rich reward and you will be known as true children of the Most High God, having his same nature. For your Father is famous for his kindness to heal[b] even the thankless and cruel. 36 Show mercy and compassion for others, just as your heavenly Father overflows with mercy and compassion for all.\u201d The Passion Translation<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t judge, you love, this is a training milestone. \u00a0Whether a person knows what kind of vibe they give off or not; they know what kind of vibe they receive. When empathy is returned to a person who is without kindness, you make a difference. Not only in their lives, but in your own. Every time you show kindness instead of judgement, you are developing compassion. As your compassion grows, you can begin to love like Jesus did when He died for you and like He still does as He makes intercession for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you. Amplified Bible<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t want your actions to be a one-time thing. You want compassion to become a part of who you are and become an &#8220;all-the-time&#8221; thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em>My Father, I did not really understand compassion until I got old enough to understand what it took for You to save me. Then I realized, when I was not thinking about You; when I was Your enemy; when I was lost in sin; You loved me and gave Your life for me. Even now, I try to be obedient and do what You require and sometimes I miss it, but yet You still love me and bless me so much. You are compassion. I thank You for every opportunity to represent You. I desire for my actions to show You to a world who doesn\u2019t know You and therefore cannot understand who You are. I know You are training me to show love and mercy in any and every situation; not just when it is shown to me but even when it\u2019s not.
