(Wikipedia)<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a child, you quickly accepted a promise as unshakable and true; but as you got older, sometimes the concept of a promise waned. As an adult, because of life experiences, you may have started to believe promises less and less. How often does your reason for trusting have to be challenged before you don\u2019t trust anymore? How many times do your expectations have to go unmet? When you reach your limit, you might replace your ability to believe in some future activity with what you may refer to as \u201ccommon sense\u201d and \u201cpragmatism\u201d. So, what do you do with the promises God has made? Here are just a few of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Isaiah 41:10 \u2018Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].\u2019 (AMP<\/span>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Matthew 11:28-29 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (New King James Version)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.\u201d (Amplified Bible)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Hebrews 13:5 Don\u2019t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God\u2019s presence. For hasn\u2019t he promised you, \u201cI will never leave you, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!\u201d (The Passion Translation)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t allow your experiences with human beings to dictate your trust in the promises of God. The quality of your life depends upon whether you really believe them or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] \u201cYes.\u201d So through Him we say our \u201cAmen\u201d to the glory of God. (Amplified Bible)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not enough to say you believe because you are a Christian. If you believe God&#8217;s promises, then you have hope, expectation, and excitement. If you do not, you function from a place of cynicism, pessimism and depression. You chose how you will live based on your belief in God\u2019s promises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><br><em>Father, I\u2019ve made promises, and I have had promises made to me; but I know You are the Promise Keeper. I\u2019m grateful You are not a man; You don\u2019t lie. I don\u2019t have to worry if You will forget, or get sidetracked. I have no doubt You will fulfill all the promises You made. I have hope and it gives me joy. When my heart gets broken by promises not kept, sometimes I am discouraged. Thank You for Your word. It assures me You love me, have a plan for my life and You will take care of what I need. I bless You! The promise for me to be with You in glory is yes, and it is so.
