Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you watching?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As things happen, you hear people saying, \u201cthis is a sign of the times\u201d. A statement made by people from hundreds of years ago until today is \u201cJesus is soon to return.\u201d People will continue to make that statement a hundred years from now, if the Lord has not yet returned. The thing is, you are to watch. You can read the signs of the times as you watch what is going on in the world. You can also find some of them listed in Mark 13:3-13. These signs will still not give you the exact day when Jesus will return, but they will give you understanding about what is going. The Bible gives you information to help you discern between natural realm and the spiritual realm; it will also teach you what to do in response to what you see. In Christ, watching is not a passive activity; it is active. You watch, but you are to pray, study and seek the Lord as well. Then, through your conversations with the Lord, you will continue to be where God wants you to be and continue to do what God wants you to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke 12:35-38 \u201cBe prepared for action at a moment\u2019s notice. 36 Be like servants anticipating their master\u2019s return from a wedding celebration. They are ready at a moment\u2019s notice to unlock and open the door for him. 37 What great joy is ahead for those who stay awake and wait for their Master\u2019s return! He himself will become their servant and wait on them. 38 He may appear at midnight or even later, but what great joy for the awakened ones whenever he comes! (The Passion Translation)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You want to be alert and prepared, in the spirit and in the natural, because you don\u2019t know when Jesus is returning. You maintain the correct posture by watching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father, I thank You for calling me to watch. I thank You because watching not only helps me to be aware of the enemy\u2019s devices, but also of my maturity. Watching helps me see what\u2019s going on in the world, not just in my life. Watching allows me to align myself with what I see and be strategic, just like the enemy is. Watching puts me in a place where the enemy can\u2019t catch me unaware because I am sensitive to Your prompting. You are teaching me and giving me revelation. You are guiding me and the unction You provide allows me to understand not only what I see in the natural but also what is going on in the spirit realm. It allows me to adjust accordingly.
