Your feelings and emotions can take you on ride only the presence of God can get you off of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Jeremiah 17:9-10a \u201cThe heart is deceitful above all things And it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives? 10 I, the Lord, search and examine the mind, I test the heart\u201d. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Salvation made you right, not because of anything you did, but because of what Jesus did. It is your responsibility to put on the breastplate to guard your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. (New Living Translation NLT)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The heart is the soulish realm where all your desires reside, both good and bad. You don\u2019t have to give in to fleshly desires that lead you astray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Philippians 4:8-9 Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God\u2019s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. 9 The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you.
