Proverbs 2:2 <\/span><\/strong>
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you seeking wisdom?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are seeking wisdom, you have to know where to look. What is wisdom? How do you become wise?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Webster Dictionary definition states:
a: ability to discern inner qualities and relationships : insight, b: good sense : judgement, c: generally accepted belief<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible Dictionary definition states:
The right use or exercise of knowledge; the choice of laudable ends, and of the best means to accomplish them. It is the faculty of discerning or judging what is most just, proper and useful. It is the knowledge and use of what is best, most just, most proper, most conducive to prosperity or happiness.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biblical concept of wisdom differs greatly from the secular view of wisdom. Biblical wisdom is a spiritual\/moral rather than an intellectual quality. There are those who believe wisdom comes with age. Have you ever heard the term \u201cold fool\u201d? You don\u2019t become wise simply by living, going to school, etc. Solomon knew he needed wisdom. He asked, and God supernaturally endowed him with it. If you want wisdom, you must ask God for it. You have to humble yourself, before God, in reverence and worship, and be obedient to His commands. The true sign of wisdom is when you understand you don\u2019t have the answers and you want them from the only One who does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(James 1:5 But, if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (NASV)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father, I really don\u2019t know all the answers. Sometimes it\u2019s hard for me to admit that because I study, I read, I research, and I often think I can figure things out. I repent for the messes I made relying on my intellect. There are more of them than I can count. Thank You for delivering me from me. Thank You for the revelation. I don\u2019t have enough information to draw every spiritual conclusion. Without You, I will never have enough information. I\u2019m grateful You loved me into the place where I trust You. Those words seem strange to say, but if I trusted You, I wouldn\u2019t have tried to work it out on my own. I should have been there all along. I repent for stepping out of my lane. I know it\u2019s okay for me to study things, look things up and try to determine what makes sense. You created me that way. At the end of the day, I want is what is right. Only You have that answer. Thank You\u2026<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
