Are you living in fact or truth?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes you get a report from those who are the experts in the field, whatever the field may be, and it is not good. The combined knowledge of the intellectuals, doctors, scientists, contractors, and pathologists says what they believe are the facts. They encourage you to accept their conclusions. Interestingly enough, they are not willing to entertain your input if it does not line up with their conclusions. You must distinguish \u201cthe truth\u201d from \u201cthe facts\u201d. A fact is a reality that you cannot logically dispute or reject. Fire is hot. It doesn\u2019t matter how great your reasoning skills are, under natural circumstances, if you touch fire, your skin will burn. Thank God for the supernatural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 John 5:7-9a So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One; 8 and there are three witnesses on the earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree [are in unison; their testimony coincides]. 9 If we accept [as we do] the testimony of men [if we are willing to take human authority], the testimony of God is greater (of stronger authority). (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Read the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego for a deeper understanding of the powerful difference between facts and truth. You can find it in Daniel 3:19-25. The fact is the fire was so hot it burned the men taking them to the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel 3:22 Therefore because the king\u2019s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. (KJV)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, \u201cthe Truth\u201d stepped in and the fire did not burn them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel 3:24-25 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. (KJV)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though you sometimes have to deal with those who don\u2019t know or follow the Lord, don\u2019t allow their intellect to cause you to waiver; don\u2019t allow their titles to influence you; and don\u2019t let their fame impress you. If you know \u201cthe Truth,\u201d nothing else will matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father, I repent because I used to live my life based on facts and I missed the opportunity to praise You. Because of \u201cThe Truth\u201d, I believe You have the final say no matter what happens. I know not only do natural laws apply to me, supernatural laws apply to me as well. You govern them both. I thank You for choosing to intervene supernaturally when it lines up with Your plan. My faith in You is not something I can rationally explain. There are no intellectual conversations that can give credence to why my faith exists. I have faith because of the hope You give me, because of what I have experienced with You, and because You are faithful. I\u2019m grateful I don\u2019t have to prove why I believe what I believe. I simply know it and that\u2019s good enough for me\u2026<\/em><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
