Don\u2019t allow the devastating things that you suffer to get to you! Continue in the full persuasion of your ministry as herald of the good news; you cannot have a more poetic job description. (Mirror Bible)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Are you weary?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a motto said by the 1st Infantry Division: \u201cNo Mission Too Difficult, No Sacrifice Too Great, Duty First\u201d You are in a \u201cwhatever it takes moment\u201d every day of your life. Here are some scriptures that make describes that commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Matthew 24:9 \u201cThen they will hand you over to [endure] tribulation, and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.\u201d (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Matthew 20:22 Jesus replied, \u201cYou don\u2019t know what you are asking.\u201d Then, looking in the eyes of Jacob and John, Jesus said, \u201cAre you prepared to drink from the cup of suffering that I am about to drink? And are you able to endure the baptism into death that I am about to endure?\u201d (The Passion Translation TPT)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Can you drink of the cup that Jesus drank of and be baptized in His same baptism? The sons of thunder said that they were willing. Where were they after Jesus\u2019 arrest?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Matthew 26:56b Then all the disciples deserted Him and fled. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why weren\u2019t both of them there when the ones who wanted Jesus crucified drug Him from judgement hall to judgment hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J<span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">ohn 18:15 Simon Peter and another disciple were following Jesus. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why weren\u2019t both of them at the cross?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">John 19:26 So Jesus, seeing His mother, and the disciple whom He loved (esteemed) standing near, said to His mother, \u201c[Dear] woman, look, [here is] your son!\u201d (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In John 18:15 and John 19:26, the assumption is that the Apostle John was \u201cthe other disciple\u201d and \u201cthe disciple who Jesus loved\u201d. Not sure what happened to James, but this just to let you know being a follower of Jesus is more than a notion. The good thing is, you get all the information you need up front, no surprises. Men will hate you for Jesus\u2019 name sake. People will persecute you and call you everything they can think of except a beloved child of God. Please:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Don\u2019t give up when you are tired.<br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good\u2014not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Keep trusting in the Lord when you are weak.<br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Isaiah 40:31 But those who trust in the Eternal One will regain their strength. They will soar on wings as eagles. They will run\u2014never winded, never weary. They will walk\u2014never tired, never faint. (The Voice TVT)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Don\u2019t be weary and think nothing will come of your work.<br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Galatians 6:9-10 And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. 10 So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God\u2019s family with you, the believers]. (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When you love what you do, though it may test you, drain you, and sometimes frustrate you, you won\u2019t give up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em>Father, sometimes I get a little tired. When I do, You tell me time and time again, \u201cif I\u2019m tired, I\u2019m not allowing You to do the work through me.\u201d I repent for trying to do the work by myself. I don\u2019t want to be weary. I don\u2019t want to allow the weight of the things I experience to cause me to take back. I want to grow and learn from them. I want to be strengthened with every trial You help me get past. With every mountain, You help me climb; with every battle, You help me win; I have to remember it\u2019s You, not me. I must remember, it is not about me, never has been and never will be. When I lose sight of that truth, waiting for my desired outcome makes me weary. Help me see each day is a new way to grow closer to You.
