Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, (NIV)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you crowned the Lord king over your life?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A coronation is the act of placement or bestowal of a crown upon a monarch\u2019s head. It is a public recognition of the king. The celebration activities can last for weeks. The actual ceremony normally lasts for three hours or more. The coronation may include acts of homage by the new ruler\u2019s subjects and also performing other ritual deeds of special significance to the particular nation. Coronations involve a great deal of pomp and circumstance. The God you serve is not just a king. He is The King of Kings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revelation 19:16 And there on His robe and on His thigh was written His name: King of kings and Lord of lords. (The Voice TVT)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you held a coronation crowning your Lord and King? Have you made a public gesture to the Lord that lets Him know you submit to His kingship over your life? Maybe you think you accomplished that when you got baptized. To be clear baptism is a testament to what you believe, not a vow to what you will do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark 16:16 He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God\u2019s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When God is your Lord and King, words are not enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke 6:46-47 Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not [practice] what I tell you? 47 For everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words [in order to heed their teaching] and does them, I will show you what he is like: (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In your time of worship, only you and God need to be there. God honors you with the privilege of access to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ephesians 2:13 But now [at this very moment] in Christ Jesus you who once were [so very] far away [from God] have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Show Him your gratitude by paying homage. In the coronation, you bow down not only physically; you bow spiritually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Chronicles 29:20 Then David said to all the assembly, \u201cBless the LORD your God.\u201d And all the assembly blessed the LORD, the God of their fathers, and bowed their heads and paid homage to the LORD and to the king. (English Standard Version ESV)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the ceremony is complete, you should live the reverence to God, continually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 12:1 So here\u2019s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life\u2014your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life\u2014and place it before God as an offering. (The Message MSG)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your reverence should not just be in your words, it should be in your actions and in your attitude as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Micah 6:8 But he\u2019s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It\u2019s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don\u2019t take yourself too seriously\u2014take God seriously. (The Message MSG)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father, I know there are ceremonies for Queens and Kings. The President and foreign dignitaries receive special homage. I repent because it did not occur to me; I should take the time to do that same thing for You. I should hold a coronation ceremony for You, a remind myself of Your position as my Lord and King frequently. I should continually bow down at Your throne in reverence, giving You honor. There are many things I have done for so called \u201cimportant people\u201d. Nothing can compare to the things I should do for You. I can remember buying special outfits to go to events where these people were going to be. It\u2019s the opportunity, the excitement, and the celebration that thrilled me. You deserve for me to have an attitude, desire, and celebration for You that far exceeds what I would give to any human being. I know what I wear doesn\u2019t impress You. What impresses You is the posture of my heart. I need to dress up my heart to come into Your presence. My heart has to be clean and free of junk because of Your splendor and majesty. Just the thought of You enthroned in my heart causes me to prostrate myself. You Are God\u2026<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
