Is my all on the altar of sacrifice laid? Do I allow Your Spirit to control my heart? Do I understand the only way You can give me rest and perfectly bless me is if I give You my body and soul? There are many times when I\u2019ve gone to the altar when I heard that song. Even when I sing it, it makes me focus on what You require. I repent for every time I went to the altar with selfish motives. I repent for singing it and not living it when I wanted something to go my way. It is so hypocritical to say I believe You will handle all things and then act like You won\u2019t. Also, You have taught me when I bring something to You, I should leave it with You and worship. There is such a peace when I place my life in Your hands. I know it may seem like I am doing nothing. However, it is not doing nothing. It is doing the best and only something that I can do. Give it to You and trust You to handle it. I desire to live my life knowing it is in Your hands. Then I can stop worrying and trying to fix things myself.
