(KJV)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. (KJV)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">Do you believe God will provide for you?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you know what resources any of your friends have available for you to use at any given moment? Maybe you think you do. You have determined the ones who have money; who have influence; who have access to certain perks, etc. Do you sometimes ask the \u201cappropriate\u201d person for what you need, hoping they will take care of the problem? There is nothing wrong with asking. There is nothing wrong with thinking your friends should help you out. However, your first step, when you are facing a problem, is to go to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Romans 8:31-32 So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn\u2019t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn\u2019t gladly and freely do for us? (The Message MSG)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t have to figure out how God is going to meet your need; He has already figured it out. He knows what you have need of before you ask (Matthew 6:8). He can supply your need, supernaturally or naturally; just remember, He is the one who is supplying the need. You can find a supernatural example of God\u2019s provision in the story of Abraham and Isaac (see devotional on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/pamelarussell.org\/teach\/?p=379\" target=\"_blank\">March 16<\/a>), He can and will provide for you.\u00a0Encourage yourself with these truths, He can and will provide for you because:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>He is your Father.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Ephesians 1:5 He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as [His own] children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>He is the giver of all the good you receive.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes]. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>He is your Shepherd.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. (Amplified Bible AMP)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>He told you not to worry; He will &nbsp;take care of you.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Matthew 6:25-26 \u201cThis is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing\u2014everything your body needs. Isn\u2019t there more to your life than a meal? Isn\u2019t your body more than clothing? 26 \u201cConsider the birds\u2014do you think they worry about their existence? They don\u2019t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren\u2019t you much more valuable to your Father than they? (The Passion Translation TPT)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>He told you us to ask.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Matthew 7:7 \u201cAsk, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you\u2019ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you.\u201d (The Passion Translation TPT)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>He has never failed to keep His word.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Numbers 23:19 God is not like people, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever he promises, he does; He speaks, and it is done. (Good News Translation GNT)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You give Him praise because He is Jehovah Jireh [ja-h\u014d-va j\u012b-ra]&nbsp; (The LORD Will Provide).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please agree with me as I pray:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em>Father God, thank You for placing people in my life who have resources. It is presumptuous on my part to think I can go to them, and they should automatically provide those resources to fix my problem. I repent for every time I did not make the right choice and come to You first. Because I give, You promised to give unto me. You may choose to fix the problem supernaturally. You may impress upon one of my friends or someone completely unknown to me to fix it some other way. However you fix it, You will fix it completely without strings and everybody will be at peace. When I try to do it without consulting You, it goes wrong. Often I have felt bad because my friend could not or would not help. My friend may have felt bad that I asked, without knowing their situation. Maybe it was bad timing, and my friend couldn\u2019t do it. Maybe my friend did not want to do it and felt pressure because of the friendship. It is dangerous to put people in the place You should be. It is dangerous to hold a person to a standard they cannot live up to because they are not You. You are Jehovah Jireh. All of my provision is in You. You meet my need and even some of my wants. You do it in the way You see fit for the situation I\u2019m going through and that supports Your purpose and plan for my life. There is training and growth for me, if I allow You to take care of it. You always do what You do.
