Victory in Prayer and Praise
       (Fingers that Fight)

1 John 5:14-15  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

You pray because there is something you want God to do for you. The power of prayer is not the result of you. Rather, the power resides in God, who is being prayed to. God most definitely listens to prayers, hears prayer, and answers prayers. This is a very important piece of information. He listens for prayers all prayers. He hears the prayers of His children and the sinner who wants to be saved. He answers your prayers.  God says yes to prayers that are in agreement with His will and handles those that are not, in a way that is best. You offer praise to God for the things He has done. Like prayer, praise focuses on you. What God did and how it impacted your life. You can be effective in war when you continually pray and praise.
