2 Corinthians 2:11
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Do you know how the enemy fights you?

The greatest strategy in war is to know your enemy. The enemy knows you and is therefore so effective in his plan to kill, steal and destroy.  He has devised triggers.  He knows how you respond to certain situations. He knows what is tempting for you and what is not. Do your due diligence; know who he is as well.  Make it a point to understand how he fights, the strategies he uses and the traps he sets for you. Then you can see him from afar off.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

8a Be well balanced and always alert, (The Passion Translation)

8a Most importantly, be disciplined and stay on guard. (The Voice)

When you understand his tactics, you can make his traps less effective in your life. He has a plan for your demise.  Do you have a plan for your success? It’s really up to you. If you don’t plan to succeed; by default, you plan to fail.

Please agree with me as I pray:

Father, everything I need to know about the enemy is in Your word. You have given me the tools I need to be effective in this war. I repent for not always doing what I needed to do. Because of my slothfulness, the enemy has gained inroads into my life many times. I have Godly sorrow, not only because I allowed myself to be defeated but also because I could have gotten the victory and therefore would not have to feel this way. I am now fortifying myself. What used to work for the devil will not work anymore. Thank you for the knowledge I need to be victorious and the wisdom to use it. Thank you for new victories…
