1 John 4:18
Fear cannot co-exist in this love realm. The perfect love union that we are talking about expels fear. Fear holds on to an expectation of crisis and judgment [which brings separation] and interpret it as due punishment. It echoes torment and only registers in someone who does not realize the completeness of their love union [with the Father, Son and Spirit and with one another.] (Mirror Bible)

What is your heart filled with?

Being stifled by fear can be come a habit, so is allowing self-pity, defeat, anxiety, despair, hopelessness, and resignation to govern your response to life. You can eliminate all of these negative habits by walking in the love of God. Though this statement may sound insensitive and impossible, it is true. You have to choose. There is only space for one choice in your heart. You will either fill it with fear or the peace God has provided. There will be times when the enemy will try to make you feel fear. Here is another acronym for fear:

  • F-Favored
Romans 1:5-6 It is through Him that we have received grace (God’s unmerited favor) and [our] apostleship to promote obedience to the faith and make disciples for His name’s sake among all the nations, 6 And this includes you, called of Jesus Christ and invited [as you are] to belong to Him. (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)
  • E-Empowered
1 Corinthians 12:11 All these things [the gifts, the achievements, the abilities, the empowering] are brought about by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, distributing to each one individually just as He chooses. (Amplified Bible AMP)
  • A-Accepted
Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. (New King James Version NKJV)
  • R-Renewed
Ephesians 4:22-24 that, regarding your previous way of life, you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature], which is being corrupted through deceitful desires, 23 and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude], 24 and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in God’s image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation]. (Amplified Bible AMP)

Take the sense of fear the enemy sent and say to yourself, I am not afraid; I am favored; I am empowered; I am accepted; and I am renewed. Arm yourself with the knowledge that your heavenly Father is with you always and will never leave you nor forsake you. Stand against destructive words and defeating thoughts.

2 Corinthians 10:5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (The Passion Translation TPT)

In their place, is cheerfulness, victory, reassurance, joy, promise and boldness.

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)

Please agree with me as I pray:

Father, I thank You for teaching me to walk in Your truth and Your love. I don’t have to be afraid. There is no place for anxiety and anguish I me. I repent for every time I allowed those feelings to overtake me. I know it’s because I did not fight them. Help me cast down every imagination, word, argument, idea, philosophy, thought, and emotion that stands in opposition to Your word. Please continue to remind me to stand on the truth, not on what I feel. There is no room for the negativity and Your love, help me always choose You. Your love gets rid of my tendency to see things from the wrong perspective. Your love allows me to take what looks like a damaging thing and look for You in it. What the enemy tries to use to destroy me, You can use to be a blessing to me and bring glory to Your name. There is nothing happening in my life that can stop me from seeing and receiving Your blessings but me. You are the source of my joy and of my peace. You give me the assurance of a life full of blessings from You. Thank You for this instruction and revelation…

“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but He has given unto us, the spirit of power, spirit, of love, and a sound mind.” I Timothy 1:7 Your Word declares that You will keep us in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee. Therefore, fear can’t abide there (in our hearts and minds). Thank You for empowering us, accepting us, favoring us, and renewing our bodies, minds, spirit, and souls. We love on You, appreciate You.

Eternally Grateful
