Zechariah 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Do you believe you can win?
How do you win against the devil? The battle is not yours it is the Lord’s. He wins through you.
2 Chronicles 20:15,17 He said, “Listen carefully, all [you people of] Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. The Lord says this to you: ‘Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 17 You need not fight in this battle; take your positions, stand and witness the salvation of the Lord who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.’” (Amplified Bible AMP)
The devil’s tactics are to steal, kill, and destroy.
John 10:10a The thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter (kill), and destroy. (The Passion Translation TPT, edited)
The Spirit and the love of the Lord stops the enemy’s plans.
John 10:10b But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow! (The Passion Translation TPT)
Because of God’s love, the enemy can no longer steal what belongs to you. Your joy, your blessings, and your peace are always available to you. The devil can’t kill what is alive in you. What God has called and empowered you to do cannot be taken away. The adversary cannot destroy what salvation brought to you. It raised you and keeps you. He tried it and failed.
Romans 8:35,37-39 Who could ever divorce us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats? No, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love, 37 Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! 38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! (The Passion Translation TPT)
Jesus got up on the third day. Because Jesus got up, you have God-given faith. It can be indestructible, just as God is, if you continue to build it up.
Jude 20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [[a]make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
You are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37) and your faith is stronger than you think. Look back over your life. See what the Lord has done. You will see you have been battle-tested, and you are war-ready.
Please agree with me as I pray:
Father, as I take stock of the things I have experienced throughout my life, I thank You. I give You praise and glory. I repent for those times when I listened to the enemy, when he tried to convince me, he could steal what You destined for my life. Also, when he tried to convince me to give up on Your love for me, by telling me I was not lovable and not worthy. And when he tried to cause me to waiver in my faith in Your power to deliver me. You were my God then and You are my God, now. You held me in Your arms and sustained me. Thank You. Now I know You carry me. You protect me from the enemy and You protect me from myself. You taught me there is nothing the enemy can take from me; I have to give it to him. I have to allow him to have what he was trying to get. By Your Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, I stand. He is still trying to use the same tricks and tactics today that he used in my past. I am ready to do battle and to see You get the victory…
